The latest in technology and material innovation is represented by the Express fin. Comfort, power, and efficiency are the key features of this propulsion machine. Strap on a pair and experience it for yourself. The Express fin operates on the same principle as the popular Slingshot and Hotshot fins. The Slingshot power bands have been transformed into the Express "Armadillo." This elongated membrane, made from ultra-elastic rubber, is patented and accumulates elastic energy during the downstroke, returning it at the end of each kick cycle. The Armadillo also bridges the gap between the front of the foot pocket and the back of the blade, eliminating any water transfer as the blade connects halfway back on the foot pocket at the Mid-Foot Flex Joint. This prevents hyper-extension of the toes and ankles. The foot pocket not only provides comfort but also features different thickness zones that securely hold the foot to the blade for maximum energy transfer. Rubber side ribs channel the water down the length of the fin, minimizing the spill-over effect. The fin also boasts the ESBS (Ergonomic Strap and Buckle System). The protruding press-to-release buttons can be easily operated even while wearing thick gloves. The rubber strap, with anti-aging compounds, has three convenient loops, making it easy to tighten or pull up over the heel, even with the thickest gloves. Additionally, oversized, anti-slip rubber pads on the bottom of the fin provide stability.
