Cressi Travel-Friendly Light Back Inflation BCD for Scuba Diving

The Patrol, a versatile dorsal volume BCD suitable for all types of diving, boasts a robust yet lightweight construction. Its harness system, independent of the air bladder, provides absolute stability and completely releases any oppression on the diver's chest, axillary, and abdominal area. The expansion of the bladder to the outside of the dorsal area and surrounding the tank ensures this. The unisex design and arrangement of the harnesses further enhance its versatility.

The Patrol's high-lift capacity dorsal air bladder maintains an external volume of stowage, thanks to the elastic containment tensioners that facilitate deflation and prevent air displacement during the dive, ensuring stability. The lightweight and semi-flexible backpack fulfills its function without adding unnecessary weight or volume, and the comfortable neutral buoyancy padding made of closed-cell material prevents water or air accumulation, reducing inherent buoyancy and facilitating quick drying.

Unlike many "travel jackets," the Patrol's tank stability underwater is not compromised due to the configuration of the air chamber, which acts as a guide for the tank. The weight system, LAS (Lock Aid System) 2.0, is more integrated into the BCD's profile, reducing its thickness. This system, following the Cressi tradition, guarantees maximum ease of insertion and release of the weight with total safety against accidental losses, as its anchors incorporate a patented spring effect.

The Direct System Inflator features a double metal filter in the air entrance under the stem, a cylindrical shape around the valve, and a recalibrated inflation rate that is 50% higher than traditional BCDs. The anti-sand design includes a minimized mouth inflator nozzle and a push-button with wide clearances to avoid the blocking action of sand grains. The vacuum button uses a silicone washer for sealing, and the push-button is integrated into the profile to prevent unwanted inflation when pulling the hose to empty. The new, very resistant hose has a very progressive curvature, and the guide clamp-integrated hose ensures a clean appearance.

The Patrol's new low-profile upper vacuum valve with a non-return valve prevents the accidental entrance of water, and the new thermo-rubber flap for fixing the hose features an embossed logo. Four ABS D-rings and a "Y" hose holder complete the feature set. The BCD is constructed using a combination of 420D Nylon and three other fabrics, including a roll-up side pocket.

Cressi, an Italian brand pioneer in scuba diving, snorkeling, and swimming equipment since 1946, manufactures the Patrol in Hungary. The product is covered by a 2-year limited warranty. The pockets fit perfectly into their places, with a 15mm long spring closure to prevent accidental snags, and a capacity of up to 4.5 kg each with flexible weight. The 100% dorsal air chamber boasts the best buoyancy in the entire Cressi range.
